Who we are: Andrés Cavelier
Andrés Cavelier is the founder and president of FastrackMedia, a digital content strategy and social media marketing firm specialized in the Hispanic market.
Prior to starting FastrackMedia, he was an Nieman Fellow at Harvard University; a Multimedia Manager at The Miami Herald; Managing Editor of El Nuevo Herald, the leading Spanish-language newspaper in the United States; and Chief Content Editor of GDA.com, a consortium of the leading Latin American newspapers.
He was also Washington Correspondent for RCN Television, a leading Colombian television network; and New York and Washington Correspondent for El Tiempo, Colombia’s most influential newspaper.
He is a graduate of Boston University (Master in International Relations and International Communications) and The University of Kansas (Bachelor of Arts in Journalism). He also taught journalism at The University of Miami.
